About this item
- [Hyper-Local Emergency Alerts] Utilizes S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) technology to deliver targeted alerts. Configure All, Multiple, or Single County modes for precise geographic filtering, minimizing false alarms while ensuring critical, life-saving warnings for tornadoes and floods reach the designated area. The noaa weather radio with alerts supports configuration for up to 23 county codes.
- [24/7 NOAA All-Hazards Radio Monitoring] Access continuous, authoritative alerts for storms, wildfires, and multi-hazard emergencies via 7 selectable channels (162.400-162.550 MHz). The noaa weather radio with alerts receives real-time updates directly from NOAA’s integrated warning system to enhance proactive disaster readiness against natural and human-caused threats.
- [Customizable Alert System] This noaa weather radio with alerts personalizes notifications through voice, siren, or visual alerts, with toggles for real-time weather/hazard warnings. Access 80+ pre-set alert types—including weather (e.g., tornado), security and system events (e.g., low battery)—each featuring individual on/off switches for granular control. Ideal for silent nighttime operation.(Note: ON* is a system-required function that must be enabled and cannot be customized.)
- [More Practical Features] This noaa weather radio with alerts features intuitive knob controls for easy navigation. Quickly adjust alarms, volume, and siren tests. Its digital clock displays time (12/24-hour) and date, while the smart alarm includes one-touch snooze (9-minute repeatable delays). The backlit display ensures clear readability in any lighting.
- [Dual-Power Reliability,Always-On Power] This noaa weather alert radio features dual power inputs (110V AC mains and 3×AA batteries – batteries not included), ensuring continuous operation for over 54 hours during power failures. Critical emergency alerts are broadcast in real-time, even during electrical outages. With a maximum siren output of 110dB, this unit provides vital auditory penetration for severe weather preparedness in storm-prone regions.
